"In the shadow of 30,000 innocent people killed on our tax dollars, the emissions from the bombing polluting more than 20 countries do in a year & counting, all while the country falls apart, I was not feeling great about 2024.

But it is a dragon year, and I fucking love dragons. Volatility can lend itself to newness & radical change. The image of the hydra stayed with me. So what does it really take to build a new world? Who do we need? Drawing on those who did it best (the global south truly has all the answers, as well as @bdsnationalcommittee ) These were my conclusions, but please tell me if you have any notes. All I know is that our feelings of helplessness are by design. We cannot do it alone. It will not happen overnight. When one head tires, there must be two others to take its place. Happy new year. We all have a role to play. which one are you?"
