Mickey Mouse Bootleg Club is a series of drawings in which the author explores the scope of informal design through bootleg exercises with images from popular culture that intervene with the iconic silhouette of the mascot of an evil entertainment corporation.
This publication contains part of the work of observation and the creative process of bootlegging in which the appropriation of consumer items is a consequence of their insistent presence in our daily lives, which is why their use is nostalgic and satirical.
