Cookbook Riso Zine by Washi Station

We’re pleased to present our first-ever zine! COOKBOOK collects beautiful artwork, easy-to-follow recipes and illustrations from 21 talented artists. Many of the recipes and illustrations also match the artists’ cookbook collection washi tapes.

COOKBOOK is RISO-printed in 2 colours. Risograph is a type of printing that’s a mix between screen printing and photocopying, where each layer of colour (in this case 2 layers: mint, and sunflower yellow) is printed individually. This creates beautiful, vibrant colours and textures. Due to the unique nature of Risograph, each zine may be slightly different. RISO inks are also notoriously difficult to capture on camera, so expect your zine to be much more vibrant in person!
